Ron has immense respect for the history of Hood County and the commitment of its citizens who’ve made the county what it is today. As a strong leader and team player, Ron is committed now and into the future for responsible economic growth along with continual infrastructure improvements to accommodate the citizens and county growth.

Ron believes our rights are God given;  the Rule

of Law is essential for the safety and wellbeing

of all citizens; the Bible followed by the United

States and Texas constitutions are the most

important words ever written. His focus on

positive governance, which is “of the people,

by the people, for the people,” will sustain a

safe, strong and prosperous Hood County well
